New certification a major milestone for trust in Moxx’s data privacy, security
New York, NY – Today, Knox Design Strategy announced that its all-in-one litigation app, Moxx, has achieved SOC 2 Type 2 certification, a major milestone for trust in the app’s data privacy and security. Secured through an accredited CPA firm’s independent third-party audit, the new certification validates that Moxx’s processes and controls meet the highest industry standards, giving clients ultimate confidence in the app’s data protection.
The SOC 2 Type 2 audit involved a full evaluation of Moxx’s security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy controls, in addition to the verification of ongoing monitoring, documentation, and risk management practices. By securing the certification, Moxx demonstrated evidence of a secure system architecture, encryption, access controls, and disaster recovery planning, with all necessary employee security training and company-wide compliance. This was demonstrated over a sustained audit period, as Moxx showcased the highest possible level of effectiveness for all app controls.
Moxx is a single platform for preparing for legal proceedings that makes it easier for litigators and their teams to collaborate, organize information, and present crucial documents and details on behalf of clients. From the time spent organizing (and finding) assets to the lack of tools currently available to streamline the process, the app addresses those challenges head-on, allowing more time for attorneys to effectively collaborate on strategy and tell their clients’ stories. It is Knox’s first proprietary application.
“At Moxx, data security has always been at the core of what we do,” said Brandie Knox, CEO of Moxx. “Security isn’t just a checkbox for us. Now, we have the independent audit to prove it. This isn’t a one-time snapshot; it is an ongoing demonstration that our controls work—not just in theory, but in daily practice. Security is built into every decision we make because our clients deserve nothing less, and we will continue making data privacy a top priority.”
