With a background in UX research and product design, Heidi Trost is a systems-thinking, human-centered translator of security risks and interpreter of security and privacy standards. She helps cross-disciplinary teams define cybersecurity outcomes and develop strategies for achieving those goals. Heidi provides guidance on how to comply with cybersecurity and privacy regulations and standards and collaborates with stakeholders on evaluating risk-related decisions. Heidi wrote the book Human-Centered Security: How to Design Systems That Are Both Safe and Usable and hosts a podcast also called Human-Centered Security.
